Preguntas frecuentes

He pagado y sigo viendo el candado.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I start?

With one person and one document. Create someone in your family, go to the Inbox and scan the first piece of paper within reach — an ID card, the insurance policy, the latest roadworthiness certificate. The app reads the text, suggests the category and fills in what it recognised; you confirm, and you already have your first date in the calendar. From there, every document you add makes the dashboard more useful.

The scan misread the amount or the date.

That happens with skewed photos, shadows, crumpled paper and unusual typefaces. After scanning, the confirmation screen always appears with every field editable: fix whatever is wrong before saving. What is written there is what the calendar, the warnings and the figures use — not what the OCR read.

Does it understand any document?

It recognises the text of any legible document, and gets the category right for the usual household ones: ID cards, passports, driving licences, vehicle inspections, insurance policies, deeds, contracts, invoices, warranties, taxes, pet records. If it guesses wrong, change the category by hand: nothing else changes and the document is just as complete.

Reminders are not arriving.

Check three things. First, that you granted notification permission (Settings › Family Admin › Notifications). Second, that the document has an expiry or renewal date: with no date there is no reminder to schedule. Third, the notice period you configured: if it is set to 7 days and the document expires in 60, the reminder arrives in 53. iOS limits how many pending notifications an app may have, so if you have a great many deadlines the app keeps the nearest ones and reschedules the rest each time you open it.

What is free?

The free plan includes up to 2 people, 1 home, 1 vehicle, 1 pet and 10 documents, and cuts nothing else: OCR scanning, automatic classification, attachments, the paperwork calendar, smart warnings, reminders, warranties, repairs, providers, annual cost, global search and the full JSON backup.

And what does each subscription add?

Family (€49.99/year in Spain) removes the cap on people, pets and documents, raises it to 3 homes and 3 vehicles, and adds businesses — for the self-employed and companies — the natural-language assistant and the travel, home-sale and accountant export bundles. Family Plus (€89.99/year in Spain) also removes the cap on homes and vehicles, and adds the emergency folder and paginated PDF export. Both plans come with a one-week free trial and are shared with your Apple family group.

Do they renew automatically?

Yes, both are annual and auto-renewing. You cancel in Settings › your name › Subscriptions, at least 24 hours before renewal; deleting the app cancels nothing. On cancelling you keep access until the end of the year you already paid for, and after that the app returns to the free plan: none of your data is deleted, you simply cannot add beyond the free plan's limits any more.

I paid and I still see the lock.

Open the Premium screen and tap "Restore purchases": the app reads your active App Store subscriptions again. If it still does not apply, check that you are signed in with the same App Store account you bought with and that you are online. If it still does not appear, write to us with the date of the purchase and which plan you bought. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Can the whole family use it?

The subscription, yes: both are shareable through Family Sharing, so one payment covers up to six members of your Apple family group. The data, however, does not sync between devices yet: in this version each device has its own local database, and the way to move information from one to another is the backup. Family syncing is on the roadmap and, when it arrives, it will be optional.

I am changing iPhone. How do I take everything with me?

If you restore the new iPhone from an iCloud or computer backup, the app and its data travel with it. If you start from scratch, go to Backup, export the JSON, keep it wherever you like and import it on the new device. Export before any repair too: since there is no server of ours, that copy is the only safety net there is.

What should I put in the emergency folder?

Directions, not secrets: "the deeds are in the filing cabinet in the study", "the life insurance is with X, policy number in that document", "call my sister before anyone else". It exists so that your family knows where to look when you cannot explain it to them. Do not write passwords or PINs there: that is what your password manager and its emergency access are for.

Are my documents uploaded anywhere?

No. The app has no account and no server: text recognition, classification and the assistant all run on your device, and attachments are stored encrypted in the app's private area. The only thing that leaves the phone is the purchase, handled by Apple. It is all set out in the privacy policy.

Can I delete things, or everything?

Yes. Every document and every entity is deleted from its own screen, with a confirmation, and deleting a home or a vehicle takes its documents, repairs and costs with it. To leave altogether, uninstalling the app removes the database, the attachments and the reminders from the device.

Which languages does it support?

Spanish, English, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Czech and Russian, following your iPhone's language.

What do I need to use it?

An iPhone or iPad running iOS 18 or later. No internet connection is needed to use the app; only to buy or restore a subscription.
