Preguntas frecuentes

Me he quedado sin jugadas

He pulsado barajar y no ha pasado nada

He comprado monedas y no aparecen

He reinstalado el juego y he perdido el progreso

Frequently asked questions

How do I play?

You tap one tile and then another. The pair clears if the two numbers are equal (4 and 4) or if they add up to ten (1+9, 2+8, 3+7, 4+6, 5+5). Clear a whole row and that row disappears and the board closes up. The level is done when the board is empty.

When can two tiles see each other?

They have to be consecutive along the same row, the same column or the same diagonal, counting only the squares between them that are already empty: one tile in the way breaks the line. On top of that, the end of one row connects to the start of the next, so the board reads as one long line and the last tile of a row can pair with the first tile of the row below. That is why every pair you clear opens up new lines, and why the order matters so much.

How do I get three stars?

They depend only on the reserve rows you had to call in: emptying the board without adding any is three stars, one is two, and two or more is one. Every move clears exactly one pair, so the move count is always the same and there is nothing to optimise there; what separates a clean run from a scrappy one is not stranding tiles. There is no way to buy stars, and no way to get more reserve rows than the level ships with.

Are there impossible boards?

No. Levels are not generated at random and then checked: they are built backwards from a finished game, so each step of the generation is the exact inverse of a legal move and the board is born with a full solution that empties it without spending a single reserve row. If you got stuck it was the order you chose, not the deal: retrying is free and there is no limit.

I have run out of moves

Tap Add a row: the next of the level's reserve rows comes in and play continues. A level is only lost once the reserve is spent and no pair is left. You also have four boosters, paid for with coins and never with real money: undo (25), hint (30), shuffle (40) and prism (60), which clears a pair for you. And you can always restart the level from the beginning, free. You start the game with 200 coins, three hints, three undos, two shuffles and one prism.

I tapped shuffle and nothing happened

That is deliberate: if every way of rearranging those tiles would leave the board unsolvable, nothing is changed and you are not charged the coins. Same with the hint when no pair keeps the board solvable: it tells you so and suggests adding a row or starting over, without charging you.

I bought coins and they have not appeared

Reopen the game while online: pending packs are delivered on launch. If they are still missing, tap "Restore Purchases" in the shop or in Settings and, if that does not do it, write to us with your Apple receipt and we will sort it out.

I reinstalled the game and lost my progress

Progress is stored only on the device, so deleting the app deletes it too and we cannot recover it. What does come back is what you paid for: "Remove Ads" and the theme pack are restored with "Restore Purchases".

How do I remove the ads?

With the one-off "Remove Ads" purchase, in the game's shop. It removes the ad between levels and, on top of that, the extra Prism that was offered in exchange for a video is handed to you directly: the purchase takes nothing away, only the video.

The daily challenge will not load the leaderboard

The leaderboard needs iCloud and a connection. If it is unavailable, your result is kept in a local leaderboard inside the phone and the challenge can still be played in full: nothing is lost because you had no signal.

Do we all play the same daily challenge?

Yes. The day's board is generated from the date (UTC) and the weekly event's from the ISO week, so they are identical for anybody who opens them on the same day or in the same week, whatever campaign level you are on. The weekly one is considerably bigger than the daily. Both are ranked by highest score and you can retry them as often as you like: only your best result counts. Playing the daily every day keeps your streak alive.

What about the other two modes?

Against the Clock is 90 seconds with its own record, and Endless is a board that does not end: clear rows and more come in. Neither spends lives, because there are no lives, and neither costs anything.

Can I play offline?

Yes. The campaign, the daily challenge, the weekly event, the timed mode and endless all work entirely without internet, because the boards are generated on the device itself. Only the leaderboards need a connection, to publish and read results.

I cannot tell the tile colours apart

There is nothing to switch on, because in LumaTen colour carries no information: what decides whether two tiles make a pair is the number written on them, and the number is always there, on all five themes, the paid one included. You can play the whole game without telling any of the six hues apart.

I use VoiceOver

The whole board is read out: each tile states its number, its row and its column, and every empty square is announced as empty, which is the other half of the information — without knowing what sits in between you cannot tell whether two tiles can see each other. Selecting a tile repeats the rule back to you ("now pick the same number, or one that adds up to ten with it"), so a pair can be made without seeing the board. With Reduce Motion on, the decorative background animations are removed. None of these helpers is a purchase, and none of them can be switched off by accident.

Are there achievements?

Eight, and they live on your device: no Game Center and no account needed. They are earned by playing — your first pair, reaching levels 10, 50 and 100, collecting stars, seven- and thirty-day daily streaks, and unlocking the themes.
