1. Responsable del tratamiento

Welcome Baby es una app móvil desarrollada por Óscar R. Garrucho. Para cualquier cuestión de privacidad, escríbenos a oscar.garrucho@gmail.com.

2. Lo esencial en tres frases

No hay anuncios, no hay analítica de terceros y no hay cuenta que crear: no te pedimos ni el nombre ni el correo electrónico. Todo lo que anotas vive en tu iPhone. Solo sale de él si tú activas la familia compartida, y entonces viaja únicamente al servidor que sincroniza los dispositivos de tu familia.

3. Datos que tratamos

  • Perfil del bebé: nombre o apodo, fecha de nacimiento, sexo si lo indicas, peso y talla de nacimiento, y la foto que elijas. La foto nunca se sincroniza: se queda en el dispositivo donde la elegiste.
  • Registros del diario: tomas (pecho con lado y duración, biberón con mililitros, sólidos), sueño, pañales, peso, talla, perímetro craneal y notas, cada uno con su hora y, si hay familia compartida, con el nombre que hayas puesto a quien lo anotó.
  • Ajustes: idioma de la app, paleta, sistema de unidades, modo noche, recordatorio de toma y preferencias de sonido.
  • Datos de salud del bebé: las tomas, el sueño, los pañales y las medidas son datos de salud de tu bebé. Los tratamos únicamente para mostrártelos a ti y a tu familia, y nunca los usamos para publicidad, perfilado ni entrenamiento de modelos.
  • Familia compartida (opcional): el código de familia, un identificador anónimo de dispositivo y el nombre que elijas para identificarte dentro de la familia (puede ser "mamá", "papá" o lo que quieras).
  • Compras: la suscripción Premium se gestiona con RevenueCat y el App Store de Apple. Nosotros solo vemos si hay una suscripción activa asociada a un identificador anónimo; no recibimos tus datos de pago.
  • Soporte: si nos escribes, recibimos tu dirección de correo y tu mensaje.

La app no accede a HealthKit, no escribe en la app Salud de Apple, no usa tu ubicación y no lee tu agenda ni tus contactos. La biblioteca de fotos solo se abre cuando tú pulsas para elegir la foto del bebé.

4. Dónde se guarda

El diario se guarda en la base de datos local de tu iPhone. Un resumen mínimo (nombre del bebé, hora de la última toma, totales del día, paleta) se copia a un contenedor compartido del propio dispositivo para que el widget, la pantalla de bloqueo y el Apple Watch puedan dibujarlo; ese contenedor no sale del teléfono.

Si activas la familia compartida, los registros y los perfiles de bebé listados arriba se guardan además en un proyecto de Supabase alojado en la Unión Europea, y la app inicia sesión de forma anónima: no se crea ninguna cuenta con correo ni contraseña. Cada familia solo puede leer y escribir sus propios datos.

5. Finalidad y base jurídica

Tratamos estos datos para prestarte la app: mostrar el diario, calcular resúmenes y tendencias, enviar el recordatorio de toma, generar el informe en PDF o el CSV cuando lo pides, sincronizar entre los dispositivos de tu familia si lo activas, gestionar la suscripción y responder al soporte. La base jurídica es la ejecución del contrato y, para los datos de salud del bebé y la sincronización, tu consentimiento explícito, que das al anotar y al activar la familia compartida y puedes retirar en cualquier momento borrando los datos o dejando la familia.

6. Conservación

Los datos locales se conservan hasta que los borres desde la app o desinstales la app. Los datos sincronizados se conservan mientras la familia exista; si borras todos los datos desde Ajustes, se borran también en el servidor. Los correos de soporte se conservan el tiempo necesario para atender la solicitud.

7. Con quién compartimos datos

No vendemos tus datos y no los cedemos a anunciantes ni a intermediarios de datos. Solo intervienen los proveedores necesarios para que la app funcione, como encargados del tratamiento:

  • Apple — distribución de la app, notificaciones locales y pagos del App Store.
  • RevenueCat — comprobación del estado de la suscripción.
  • Supabase — únicamente si activas la familia compartida; el proyecto está alojado en la Unión Europea.

Si compartes el informe en PDF o el CSV, el destino lo eliges tú.

8. Seguridad

Toda la comunicación con el servidor va cifrada en tránsito (HTTPS). El acceso a los datos de una familia está restringido a nivel de base de datos a los dispositivos que se han unido con su código, y el código de familia se intercambia por una pertenencia sin exponer el resto de familias. Quien tenga tu código puede ver y modificar el diario: compártelo solo con quien quieras.

9. Tus derechos

Puedes acceder, rectificar, suprimir, limitar u oponerte al tratamiento, y ejercer la portabilidad. La mayoría los ejerces desde la propia app: editar o borrar cualquier registro, exportar el CSV o el PDF, dejar la familia compartida y borrar todos los datos desde Ajustes con doble confirmación. Para lo demás, escríbenos a oscar.garrucho@gmail.com. También puedes reclamar ante la Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.

10. Menores

La app la usan personas adultas. Los datos del bebé los introduce su madre, su padre o quien ejerza su tutela, que es quien consiente el tratamiento en su nombre. No recopilamos nada más allá de lo que tú escribes.

Podemos actualizar esta política y publicaremos la versión vigente en esta página, con su fecha.

2. The essentials, in three sentences

There are no ads, no third-party analytics and no account to create: we do not ask for your name or your email address. Everything you log lives on your iPhone. It only leaves it if you turn on the shared family, and then it travels only to the server that syncs your family's devices.

3. Data we process

  • Baby profile: name or nickname, birth date, sex if you state it, birth weight and length, and the photo you choose. The photo is never synced: it stays on the device where you picked it.
  • Log entries: feeds (breast with side and duration, bottle with millilitres, solids), sleep, nappies, weight, length, head circumference and notes, each with its time and, if you use a shared family, with the name you gave to whoever logged it.
  • Settings: app language, palette, unit system, night mode, feed reminder and sound preferences.
  • Your baby's health data: feeds, sleep, nappies and measurements are health data about your baby. We process them only to show them to you and your family, and never for advertising, profiling or model training.
  • Shared family (optional): the family code, an anonymous device identifier and the name you choose to identify yourself within the family (it can be "mum", "dad" or anything you like).
  • Purchases: the Premium subscription is handled by RevenueCat and Apple's App Store. We only see whether an active subscription is attached to an anonymous identifier; we never receive your payment details.
  • Support: if you write to us, we receive your email address and your message.

The app does not access HealthKit, does not write to Apple's Health app, does not use your location and does not read your calendar or contacts. Your photo library is only opened when you tap to pick the baby's photo.

4. Where it is stored

The log is stored in your iPhone's local database. A minimal summary (baby name, time of the last feed, today's totals, palette) is copied to a shared container on the device itself so the widget, the Lock Screen and the Apple Watch can draw it; that container never leaves the phone.

If you turn on the shared family, the log entries and baby profiles listed above are additionally stored in a Supabase project hosted in the European Union, and the app signs in anonymously: no account with an email address or password is created. Each family can only read and write its own data.

5. Purpose and legal basis

We process this data to provide the app: showing the log, computing summaries and trends, sending the feed reminder, generating the PDF report or the CSV when you ask for it, syncing across your family's devices if you enable that, managing the subscription and answering support requests. The legal basis is performance of a contract and, for your baby's health data and for syncing, your explicit consent, which you give by logging and by turning on the shared family and can withdraw at any time by deleting the data or leaving the family.

6. Retention

Local data is kept until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app. Synced data is kept for as long as the family exists; if you delete all data from Settings, it is deleted on the server too. Support emails are kept for as long as needed to handle the request.

7. Who we share data with

We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to advertisers or data brokers. Only the providers needed for the app to work are involved, as processors:

  • Apple — app distribution, local notifications and App Store payments.
  • RevenueCat — checking subscription status.
  • Supabase — only if you turn on the shared family; the project is hosted in the European Union.

If you share the PDF report or the CSV, you choose the destination.

8. Security

All communication with the server is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access to a family's data is restricted at the database level to the devices that joined with its code, and the family code is exchanged for a membership without exposing any other family. Anyone holding your code can see and change the log: share it only with whoever you mean to.

9. Your rights

You can access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing, and exercise data portability. Most of it you do inside the app: edit or delete any entry, export the CSV or the PDF, leave the shared family, and delete all data from Settings with a double confirmation. For anything else, write to oscar.garrucho@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

10. Minors

The app is used by adults. The baby's data is entered by their mother, father or guardian, who consents to the processing on the baby's behalf. We collect nothing beyond what you type in.

11. Changes

We may update this policy and will publish the current version, with its date, on this page.
